The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County joins the National #GivingTuesday movement to encourage spending with a purpose.  Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday will inspire our Palm Beach County community to take collaborative action to improve our K-12 public schools.

Taking place December 1, 2015 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving - #GivingTuesday will harness the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicating to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.

“The most meaningful gift that we can give our children, loved ones, friends and neighbors is the commitment to work together to help build a better world.  We hope you’ll keep us in mind this giving season and remember that the holidays are not just about consumerism but also about giving and creating a better world and community together,” said Max Macon, chairman of the board.
