When learning is fun and engaging, learning is easy. The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County GoTeach! Classroom Grants encourage educators to create innovative and exciting educational programs for their students. Teachers are urged to apply for GoTeach! Grants annually to directly benefit their classrooms. GoTeach! Grants focus on these priority areas: Literacy, Career Education and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Examples of successfully implemented classroom grants include:

  • Field trips to educational destinations
  • Supplies for innovative projects
  • Literacy resources
  • Musical instruments specific to the grant program
  • Technology equipment specific to the grant program

GoTeach! Classroom Grants award up to $775 for individual teaching projects, and  up to $1,275 for team projects. Once the grant application is submitted it is reviewed by a panel of Foundation board members and other community leaders. Classroom grants are awarded in the fall, and grantees are required to submit results, photos, and a summary of how the funds were used.
