Red Apple Supplies Store receives needed support by the Palm Beach County Community through School Supply Drives this summer
This summer, you may see a special box at your neighborhood Bank of America branch, or if you walk into an Allstate or Keller Williams office, or shop at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton. What is happening is a community is coming together to help our public schools prepare for the upcoming academic school year. Teachers personally pay for supplies to ensure their students are equipped with the essential tools they need, at a price tag of $500 or more.
Education Foundation President and CEO James S. Gavrilos comments:“Saturday will be one of those days that defines the Education Foundation and the work we do. While one group of volunteers will be helping the teachers shop at Red Apple Supplies Store, another group of volunteers will be packing up backpacks with school supplies for the 400 or so young people who moved to Palm Beach County from Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricane Maria. You will have funders and business leaders coming together to make the public-school system in Palm Beach County the finest in the State. And to have Dr. Fennoy stop by for his first official visit? It will be a morning to remember.”
