The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County (EFPBC) would like to take a moment and thank all of the panelists who read and scored the teacher applications for our Classroom Grants program. We received many qualified applications and our panelists did a wonderful job reading and scoring them to help us choose which programs would be funded for the 2015-16 school year.
One hundred and seven applications from public school teachers applied for the 2015-16 school year grant cycle, a 56% increase over last year. EFPBC awarded 51 Classroom Grants this year totaling $45,000. Project areas funded focus on Literacy, Career Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics and must provide measurable results for evaluation. Individual teacher projects are awarded up to $750 and team projects receive up to $1,250.
We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015-16 EFPBC Classroom Grants, approved by the Programs and Grants Committee. Please click here for a list of the teachers and projects that will be funded this school year.
